This clinic focuses on teaching foundational horsemanship skills that help riders become a better partner to their horse. In the morning we will begin with groundwork before swinging aboard. Groundwork serves as your “pre-flight” check and when performed correctly, helps riders address trouble before it happens. We will additionally cover safe mounting techniques plus any specific problems riders have been facing at home.

Once mounted in the afternoon, will progress by using the foundation built on the ground help you develop better feel, timing and balance on your horse. The goal of the day is that riders leave more confident and with new tools that are necessary to take your horsemanship to the next level while remaining safe.

Come in the morning class with your horse saddled and haltered with a lead rope attached (rope halters are my recommendation). You will also need a flag in order to be effective in the morning class. If you need help finding the correct gear check out the links below (these are just for reference, theres no obligation to buy from these sources) or you can reach out and I will get you pointed in the right direction.
